Our mission is “To work as one in helping animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance, while also supporting the people who love animals.” We are a 501(c)(3) mostly volunteer, no-kill rescue. We have two locations, one in Evansville, Indiana and one in Chrisney, Indiana. We have helped over 10,000 animals since we were created in 2010.

Volunteers are always needed. Be a hero for homeless animals and volunteer.
Dog Day Out is a top choice. Spend time with our dogs outside of the shelter to provide a change of scenery and socialization opportunities. It’s super easy and fun!

IT'S BACK!!! POORLY DRAWN PETS FUNDRAISER! Time to have some fun with a ridiculous fundraiser to help homeless animals! Just donate $25 to the animals of ITV, and we’ll draw your beloved pet for you! The catch? You *might* get one of our super talented artists, but honestly … you’ll probably get someone with the talent of a 3rd grader. The luck of the draw is half the fun! Most of us are a whole lot better at caring for animals than we are at drawing them so please keep your expectations low!
TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS:
1. Donate $25 on this post OR online at ITVrescue.org/#donate OR Venmo @ITVrescue OR Paypal.Me/ITVrescue.
2. AFTER you have made your donation, upload a photo of your pet on this post.
3. Our team of volunteer “artists” will get started on your drawing and will upload a photo of the final masterpiece within 24 hours. There is a limit of two pets per picture, but no limit on how many times you donate; the more donations submitted, the more we can support animals in our community and the more drawings you will receive! Of course, if you feel compelled to give more than asked, we’d be so grateful for your generosity. We are sorry, but because this is being done remotely, we cannot send physical drawings in the mail.
4. Be sure to share your masterpiece on social media and tag us @ITVrescue so we can all have some fun enjoying the “art.”
We have a team of volunteers standing by to amaze or amuse you, so upload us your pet photos! The event only runs ONE WEEK through Friday, May 3 at midnight CDT! Thank you!
Rosie Dawns puppies (lab mixes) will be ready to go to foster to adopt homes next week!
Foster applications may be completed at itvrescue.org.
Rosie Dawn may also go to a foster to adopt home. Rosie would be a great addition to any family.

Please join us on Saturday, May 4, 2024 for our Dine Out for Dogs at Chipotle, 1310 Hirschland Rd, Evansville, IN between 4-8 pm. Chipotle will donate 25% of your purchase to homeless animals! Yes, you read that right, 25%!!
We do need at least $150 in total sales to receive a check so we need our supporters to come out!!

State Hospital Grounds
Don't miss the opportunity to participate in our 2024 Pictures in the Park! We are happy to give you an opportunity to have your own private session with photographer, Emilee Kerner! Photos will be at the Master Garden at the Evansville State Hospital grounds. The following dates are available:
Wednesday, May 8, 2024 - 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Thursday, May 9, 2024 - 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday, May 18, 2024 - 12 pm to 4 pm
We will have limited private photo sessions available for your family or your animals. Adults, kids and animals are all welcome. For only $100, you will receive a 30-minute private session taking various shots in a beautiful outdoor setting. After the private session, you will receive a 5-6 digital poses. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A portion of proceeds with benefit the animals of ITV!! Only a limited number of slots are available each day so hurry to reserve your place!! Don't miss this chance to preserve your family photo in a great outdoor setting while helping the dogs of ITV!! Advance reservations are required. How to reserve your spot:
1. Email info@itvrescue.org with your preferred time and the date.
2. You will receive an email response confirming availability. Once you receive the response, you will have 24 hours to pay online at ITVrescue.org/#donate or paypal.me/itvrescue or Venmo @ITVrescue. Payment is due before your session will be confirmed. Any spots not paid for, will not be reserved.
It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue
Honor the special mother in your life while helping ITV with our Mother's Day Petals for Paws fundraiser. For $40, you can pick up a dozen roses, including a vase. Or order 3 roses with vase for only $10! The roses will show your support for homeless animals, making the roses much more meaningful to your loved one. The roses will be available for pickup on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Roses are handpicked, 16-18" stems with a bloom diameter of 2.5" - 3.5". The roses are a yellow based bud.
