There are countless rewarding reasons to adopt a shelter animal and bring them into your life, if you want to learn more then check out this article on why adopt a shelter dog!

If you already know which animal you want to apply to adopt, the next step is to fill out the adoption application here!  If you do not already have an animal picked out, you can see our available animals below.  You can complete an adoption application by clicking the “adopt” button under the animal’s photo.  The animals who need foster homes also have a “foster” button under their photo.  We do generally allow foster to adopt if the animal has not otherwise been placed in a foster home. To learn more about fostering an animal in need, please review our fostering information on our website at https://itvrescue.org/fostering-faqs/.  We also have a Doggy Day Out program where you can take a homeless animal for short-term outing.  Learn more about the program at https://itvrescue.org/ways-to-help/doggie-day-out/
