Our mission is “To work as one in helping animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance, while also supporting the people who love animals.” We are a 501(c)(3) mostly volunteer, no-kill rescue. We have two locations, one in Evansville, Indiana and one in Chrisney, Indiana. We have helped over 10,000 animals since we were created in 2010.

Volunteer Be a Hero
Volunteers are always needed. Be a hero for homeless animals and volunteer.
Dog Day Out is a top choice. Spend time with our dogs outside of the shelter to provide a change of scenery and socialization opportunities. It’s super easy and fun!

PetSmart (Evansville, IN)
ITV will have some adoptable animals at Petsmart, 215 N Burkhardt Rd, Evansville, IN from 10 am to 2 pm. Come out and see some great adorable adoptables looking for forever homes! See all our adoptable animals at ITVrescue.org.
BFit Gym + Fitness, 3930 N. Cullen Ave, Evansville, Map
Join the Bikes for Barks Charity Ride to benefit It Takes A Village Animal Rescue at BFit East on Saturday, August 3 at both 8 & 9am!
These rides are 45-minute CycleX classes & open to ALL members (no matter membership level). BFit will donate $20 for every person who participates in either of these rides.
Donations will be taken the day of the event as well. It Takes A Village will be onsite to answer any questions and have some adoptable animals!
Registration opens through the BFit app 48 hours prior to the event. Hope to see you there during the Dog Days of Summer!
