Our mission is “To work as one in helping animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance, while also supporting the people who love animals.” We are a 501(c)(3) mostly volunteer, no-kill rescue. We have two locations, one in Evansville, Indiana and one in Chrisney, Indiana. We have helped over 10,000 animals since we were created in 2010.

Volunteer Be a Hero

Volunteers are always needed. Be a hero for homeless animals and volunteer.

Dog Day Out is a top choice. Spend time with our dogs outside of the shelter to provide a change of scenery and socialization opportunities. It’s super easy and fun!

TRANSPORTATION HELP NEEDED

Saturday May 11th we need drivers to transport 8 dogs to the Martin County Spay and Neuter Clinic. The van would need to leave ITV at 7am to go to 507 N Oak St Loogootee, IN 47553 for drop off and 3pm to pick up.

It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue

Honor the special mother in your life while helping ITV with our Mother's Day Petals for Paws fundraiser. For $40, you can pick up a dozen roses, including a vase. Or order 3 roses with vase for only $10! The roses will show your support for homeless animals, making the roses much more meaningful to your loved one. The roses will be available for pickup on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Roses are handpicked, 16-18" stems with a bloom diameter of 2.5" - 3.5". The roses are a yellow based bud.

Introducing ITV's Fifth Annual King and Queen Contest! What is a pawty without a Royal Court? We need you to select a King and Queen to preside over our Rockin' for Rescue on June 15, 2024 at Warehouse 410, Evansville. The male animal and the female animal who receive the most votes will be crowned King and Queen, respectively. The winners will receive a crown, be our special guests at the Rockin' for Rescue (with their guardian) and receive a prize package. Finally, the winners will be featured on our social media pages regarding the contest.

We will also crown a Prince and Princess! The male animal and the female animal who receives the second most votes will be crowned Prince and Princess, respectively. They will also be part of the Rockin' for Rescue Royal Court as our special guest (with their guardian) on June 15 and receive a prize package.

We encourage you to enter the contest with your favorite photo of your pet and a few words about your beloved. Then invite your family and friends to vote for your photo! The contest is open to anyone and you may enter your photo for only $20. Your photo entry does not have to be of an ITV rescue. We welcome photos of all animals - beautiful and regal, silly and goofy, naughty and nice, rough and tumble, indoor snuggle bunnies and outdoor adventurers.
