Gumbo is a stew or soup of celery, onion, bell peppers, seafood, meat and spices. On Saturday, February 3, from 1 – 4 p.m., local non-profits will be at Franklin Street business and will give you the chance to sample dozens of amazingly different gumbos. You will be able to sample a small serving of every gumbo at each location.
Andrea Will of Stockwell Inn will be cooking up the ITV gumbo! Our sponsor for this event is Tin Man Brewing Company (1430 West Franklin Street).
The Not-For-Profits judging for best gumbo is done through the People’s Choice buckets; each $1 = 1 vote! The charity with the most money, wins the People’s Choice.
